The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 60 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.
The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

SUMMARY
Supports primary healthcare center in delivering medical services, strengthens vaccination and preventive care efforts, and actively participates in health education, screening, and outreach activities conducted within the center and in community settings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides professional nursing care to beneficiaries, including clinical assessment, vital signs, collecting medical and personal history, dispensing medications, vaccinations, wound care, and other essential nursing procedures
· Supports general practitioners and specialist physicians in performing medical acts and ensures appropriate follow-up during patient recovery as per medical instructions
· Ensures patients welcoming and proper collection, updating medical files while safeguarding confidentiality and data protection protocols
· Participates in medical days, outreach activities, and home visits to provide care, screening, vaccination, and follow-up for individuals and groups in remote or underserved locations
· Assesses the needs of communities during outreach activities and contributes to developing appropriate intervention plans for targeted groups, families, and individuals along with the outreach coordinator
· Provides health education and awareness sessions in the CHC, homes, schools, and community spaces, focusing on prevention, healthy lifestyle, and public health priorities
· Collaborate with social workers to identify cases requiring social support, referrals, or protection follow-up
· Participates in screening and early detection campaigns, with attention to chronic diseases, maternal and child health, nutrition, dermatological issues, and other community-identified priorities
· Provides emotional and psychological support to patients and families, recognizing signs that require referral to specialized mental health services.
· Apply all clinical protocols, processes, and procedures including infection control and patient safety
· Maintains a safe, hygienic, and secure environment for beneficiaries, visitors, and staff; reports incidents in line with OML procedures
· Maintains readiness and availability of medical supplies, equipment, and emergency materials, including stretcher checks and stock expiry
· Ensures adherence to national accreditation standards and LAKM policies, as well as the ethics, mission, and values
· Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary team, medical, paramedical, and administrative to deliver integrated and quality healthcare services across the center and the community
· Participates in continuous medical training, quality improvement initiatives, and community engagement efforts
· Performs other related duties requested by the Healthcare Center Administrator, Chief Physician, outreach coordinator and Nurse Coordinator
· Applies and follows the code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of the Order of Malta-Lebanon.
· Performs other related duties assigned by the Program Manager and the Healthcare Center Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in nursing, master’s degree is a plus
· 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare center
· Practice Permission
· Ability to conduct assessment of the person’s social and medical needs
· Ability to work and interact in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a pressurized environment
· Initiative and drive for results
· Proven communication skills
· Computer literacy (Microsoft Office…) including work knowledge with a healthcare information system (Phenics or other) is a must
· Fluency in Arabic, English and French (written and spoken).
