ABOUT US
The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 40 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.
The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.
In this framework, the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta / Order of Malta Lebanon is looking for an experienced

SUMMARY
Ensures timely payments and updates internal payroll databases, helps the payroll process of the association run smoothly, efficiently, and accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares on monthly basis the payroll documents as per the donors’ audit requirements.
- Ensures that all employees sign their monthly pay slips on time as per association and donor’s requirements.
- Prepare on monthly basis the transportation calculation for the mobile medical unit employees to issue the payments accordingly.
- Executes the daily, weekly, and monthly transfers payments to staff through Cash United
- Follows up on Cash United transfers when needed and registers new employees on Cash United platform
- Updates the budget control with detailed monthly payroll transactions when needed
- Supports in the preparation of the social aids’ payments for Centers
- Supports with scanning vouchers, pay slips, and documents
- Helps with payroll filing and archiving when needed
- Applies and follows code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta – Lebanon
- Performs other related duties assigned by the Payroll Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Business, or any related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Previous experience as a Payroll Officer
• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
• Attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, meet deadlines
