ABOUT US

The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 60 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.

The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

SUMMARY 

Provides safe transport services to the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) from one location to another, follows traffics laws, and ensures that there is always enough diesel in the tank for the destination 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assists with the loading and offloading of products, and materials

·         Assists the medical personnel during scheduled clinic visits in organizing the patient’s flow

·         Prepares the MMU vehicle for the site operation (turning on the generator…) 

·         Informs the company of any tickets issued against the MMU vehicle during work hours

·         Ensures that the MMU vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking 

·         Ensures that the MMU vehicle is only used for professional purposes, not for personal uses and only during working days

·         Makes sure to take the MMU vehicle on time in the morning from the HUB, and to park it after the completion of the working hours in the HUB

·         Keeps the MMU vehicle properly maintained 

·         Ensures that MMU vehicle is always kept perfect and clean by washing both the inside and outside parts of the vehicle

·         Checks the MMU vehicle condition after each trip 

·         Checks the MMU vehicle documents and their validity 

·         Reports any accidents, injuries, and MMU vehicle damage to management 

·         Ensures that MMU vehicle has sufficient diesel and is always ready for use

·         Follows all safety rules and regulations

·         Carries out other tasks assigned by the management and/or MMU Field Coordinator and related to site operation

QUALIFICATIONS 

·         High school diploma

·         2 to 3 years of driving experience

·         A valid Public and private driver’s license

·         A Toutemarque license

·         Clean driving record and medical record

·         Must respect and adhere to the MMU internal rules/principles and to all safety and traffic rules

·         Knowledge of road safety regulations 

·         Ability to work in all weather conditions.
