ABOUT US

The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 60 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.

The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

Monitoring and Evaluation Expert

LOCATIONS 

HQ - Beirut

SUMMARY 

Analysis quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and patterns, supporting decision-making processes in all the fields of OML’s intervention, i.e. healthcare, agro-humanitarian and social.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Gather data through surveys, and existing databases to support research and analysis.

·         Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in datasets to ensure high-quality data for analysis and decision-making.

·         Apply statistical theories and methods to interpret data, identify trends, and draw conclusions that inform organizational strategies.

·         Prepare reports, tables, charts, and graphs to present findings in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders.

·         Collaboration: Work with various departments to assess Order of Malta Lebanon activities and identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights.

·         Collecting and cleaning internal data from various departments.

·         Consolidating quantitative and qualitative data into databases.

·         Applying various calculations and formulas to analyze and interpret the data

·         Ensuring the data and calculations are accurate

·         Interpreting the results to find trends and information that’s useful for Order of Malta Lebanon activities decision-making

·         Assisting in the development of research protocols

·         Collaborate with staff on developing and executing statistical methodologies and advanced analytical techniques

·         Presenting the data and statistical findings to the executive team

·         Applies and follows code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta – Lebanon 

·         Performs other related duties requested by the M&E Manager

QUALIFICATIONS 

·         Master degree in statistics, Mathematics, epidemiology or any related 

·         Relevant experience in reseach 

·         3 to 5 years of minimum experience

·         Strong knowledge of statistical theories, methodologies and techniques.

·         Comfort with technology, especially databases and statistical analysis software

·         Written communication skills, including report writing

·         Organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Qualitative and quantitative research skills

·         Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills including dashboards to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences.

·         Experience in database management, using SQL

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Familiar working with Health care information system (i.e., Phenics) is desirable
