ABOUT US
The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 30 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.
The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

SUMMARY
Provides medical and nursing care to a variety of patients at Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) along with physical or psychological support when required, supports doctors in delivering medical acts, medications
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Fills the patient’s medical history, allergies, vital signs, physician diagnoses and exams in the information system
· Admits patients to the physicians of the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU)
· Provides patients with the medical drugs according to the physician’s prescription
· Prepares the patients before examination (blood pressure, glucose test…)
· Ensures that medical equipment is properly operated and maintained and insures supply needs for the MMU operations
· Identifies patients care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them
· Coordinates with the HUB Administrative Assistant on the replenishment of the medical drugs stock of the MMU according to the budget and needs
· Maintains a safe, hygienic working environment
· Follows up all protocols, processes, and procedures (disease prevention, infection control, …)
· Monitors patients’ condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
· Supports generalists and specialty doctors in providing medical acts and follows up with patient during recovery based on doctor’s request
· Performs other related duties requested by the Field Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Master’s degree is a plus
· 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare center
· Valid nursing license
· Proficiency in Computer literacy (Word, Excel…)
· Fluency in Arabic, English and French (written and spoken)
· Working experience with Phenics
