The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 60 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.
The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

SUMMARY
The Multisectoral Projects Coordinator supports the Programs Director in coordinating strategic and cross-sectoral projects that involve more than one OML program pillar, including Health, Social Community Wellbeing, Civic Engagement, and Agro-Humanitarian programming.
The role serves as a coordination focal point for complex projects, ensuring that internal teams remain aligned on scope, responsibilities, workplans, deliverables, timelines, and follow-up actions.
The coordinator supports project design, implementation follow-up, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and management reporting, while working closely with the Awards & Grants Manager and relevant technical and support departments. The role is intended to strengthen integrated programming and is not limited to administrative coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Multisectoral Project Coordination
§ Coordinate assigned projects that cut across two or more OML program pillars, ensuring a common understanding of project objectives, scope, deliverables, roles, and timelines.
§ Serve as the day-to-day coordination focal point for assigned multisectoral projects.
§ Develop and maintain integrated workplans, action trackers, responsibility matrices, and implementation follow-up tools for assigned projects.
§ Coordinate communication and follow-up among relevant program and support teams, ensuring timely exchange of information, clarity of responsibilities, and alignment on deliverables.
§ Support the preparation and follow-up of project, donor, and technical meetings, including agendas, briefing notes, minutes, and action points.
§ Maintain coordination tools, including meeting calendars, decision logs, action trackers, deliverable matrices, and key correspondence.
§ Follow up with Heads of Programs, Program Managers, and relevant support departments on agreed actions and escalate delays, dependencies, bottlenecks, or unresolved coordination issues to the Programs Director.
2. Project Design, Planning and Strategic Support
§ Support the Programs Director and technical teams in developing multisectoral concepts, project frameworks, and implementation approaches.
§ Coordinate input from different program pillars and departments for concept notes, proposals, workplans, budgets, and implementation plans, in coordination with the Awards & Grants Manager.
§ Ensure cross-sectoral project designs reflect operational feasibility, complementarity between sectors, partner capacities, and organizational priorities.
§ Support mapping of stakeholders, implementation locations, partnerships, and service complementarities to inform project design and strategic engagement.
3. Implementation Follow-up and Performance Monitoring
§ Monitor progress of assigned projects against approved workplans, milestones, deliverables, and agreed commitments.
§ Consolidate implementation updates from program and support teams and provide concise management updates to the Programs Director.
§ Coordinate with the Awards & Grants Manager, MEAL, and Finance teams to ensure that programmatic progress, indicators, reporting obligations, and budget follow-up remain aligned.
§ Identify implementation risks and interdependencies and support the development and follow-up of corrective actions.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Representation
§ Support engagement with donors, implementing partners, consultants, government counterparts, and other stakeholders as delegated by the Programs Director.
§ Represent OML in project and partnership coordination meetings when requested, ensuring that OML positions, commitments, and follow-up actions are clearly captured.
§ Support the preparation of presentations, briefing materials, and management updates for strategic engagements.
§ Promote collaborative, transparent, and solution-oriented working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
5. Documentation, Governance and Knowledge Management
§ Ensure key project documents are complete, organized, current, and accessible in accordance with OML project filing and archiving requirements.
§ Maintain clear records of decisions, commitments, risks, and changes affecting assigned projects.
§ Capture lessons learned, good practices, and recommendations from multisectoral projects and partnerships to strengthen future programming.
§ Support compliance with applicable donors, partnership, and OML requirements in coordination with the Awards & Grants Manager and relevant departments.
6. Other Duties
§ Perform additional tasks assigned by the Programs Director in line with program priorities, strategic partnerships, and organizational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, International Development, Engineering, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, program management, partnerships, preferably within NGOs or development organizations.
· Demonstrated experience coordinating projects involving multiple teams, partners, or technical sectors.
· Experience with donor-funded projects, multisectoral project arrangements, or multi-stakeholder initiatives is a strong asset.
· Strong project coordination, planning, organization, and follow-up skills.
· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
· Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
· Ability to synthesize complex information and translate discussions into clear decisions, action points, and follow-up plans.
· Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
· Good understanding of project cycle management, results frameworks, risk management, and partnership governance.
· Ability to work effectively across technical sectors and organizational functions without direct supervisory authority.
· High level of professionalism, accountability, discretion, and attention to detail.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
· Experience with project management and collaboration tools is an asset.
· Fluency in English and Arabic required; French is a strong asset.
· Willingness and ability to conduct field visits across OML areas of operation.
