The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 60 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.
The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

SUMMARY
Support the Project Manager in ensuring the timely, organized, and reliable implementation of activities under Education & Devotion Pillar projects through field coordination, logistical and activity-level financial follow-up, monitoring, data collection, and documentation, in line with OML values, procedures, log frame requirements, approved budgets, and commitments.
Reflecting the pillar’s culture of encounter and service, the Project & Engagement Field Officer acts as a field-level link between the Programs and Engagement Pathways units, helping ensure both that volunteer-led engagement pathways comply with relevant project and organizational requirements and that the project framework serves as a vehicle for meaningful participation, encounter, service, and belonging.

The role combines office-based and field work, with working hours and presence adapted to activities schedules and operational needs. This may include occasional multi-day field activities and assignments outside regular working hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, business administration, public administration, economics, or related field.
· Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in project implementation and coordination, field operations, or community-based programming.
· Academic or practical background in education, arts, sports, civic or community engagement, as well as previous volunteer experience (particularly with OML), are considered assets.
· Flexibility with the ability to navigate complex realities and adapt to changing contexts.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with emotional maturity, discretion, and sensitivity to dignity, inclusion, and safeguarding.
· Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail and the ability to coordinate assigned activities and deadlines.
· Basic understanding of workplans, activity budgets, indicators, and documentation requirements.
· Ability to work effectively in multi-actor, field-based, and engagement-driven environments involving staff, volunteers, partners, communities, and OML entities.
· Reliability, teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and a practical, service-oriented approach.
· Previous experience working with people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including adapting communication and support to individual needs, is considered an asset.
· Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
· Good command of Arabic and English, spoken and written, with working proficiency in French.
· Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint ...)
