The Order of Malta Lebanon (OML) celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Tournament Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour , in the presence of the First Lady of Lebanon, Mrs. Nehmat Aoun First Lady Nehmat Aoun - نعمة عون

Bringing together 500 children aged 6 to 15 from 12 OML centers across the country, the event was a joyful culmination of four months of hard work, training, and camaraderie. Surrounded by parents, coaches, volunteers, and staff, more than 1,000 people gathered to cheer on the young athletes competing in football and basketball. 

In her moving address, the First Lady praised the transformative power of humanitarian action and volunteering. She commended OML for its  dedication to supporting the most vulnerable and building a more compassionate society.

A deeply emotional tribute was also paid to the missing teams and children from the southern border who unfortunately could not be with us.This unforgettable journey was made possible by the incredible energy of our staff and volunteers. We extend our deepest gratitude to our partners, Gouvernement Monaco for funding the training sessions, and the Auswärtiges Amt and Malteser International for making this tournament a reality under the AHEAD program. A special thank you to Sport Evasion for their professional coaching and refereeing, and to our generous in-kind sponsors Mr. Juicy, Aquafina Lebanon Cafe Najjar Krikita Sande Byte Lebanon and all partners who championed the children throughout the day. 

We are already looking forward to the 5th edition, with the heartfelt hope of bringing together children from every single OML center across Lebanon, without exception.
