After weeks of preparation, coordination, and relentless determination, the Order of Malta Lebanon successfully carried out another humanitarian convoy to the southern border villages of Ain Ebel, Debel, and Rmeich, delivering five trucks loaded with essential supplies to communities enduring ongoing hardship and isolation.

The mission was the result of extensive efforts behind the scenes. For weeks, teams worked closely with local communities to identify and understand their most urgent needs, ensuring that the aid delivered was carefully tailored to what families specifically requested. The convoy included food supplies, hygiene products, drinking water, medical assistance, and other essential items intended to support families facing increasingly difficult living conditions.

Yet beyond the humanitarian assistance itself, the convoy carried something equally meaningful: a message of solidarity, compassion, and human connection.

Students from schools and institutions across Lebanon contributed to the initiative by preparing special boxes for children living in the South. Filled with drawings, toys, games, and handwritten letters, these boxes represented heartfelt gestures from one child to another; reminders that even amid crisis and uncertainty, kindness continues to bridge distances and unite communities.

For many families and children, these simple acts carried profound emotional value. They served as a reminder that they are not forgotten, and that people across Lebanon continue to stand beside them during difficult times.

This mission would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of the Order of Malta Lebanon teams and volunteers, whose dedication and perseverance ensured the convoy reached its destination despite numerous challenges. It was also made possible through the generosity of trusted donors and partners, and through the empathy and creativity shown by the participating students.

More than a delivery of aid, this convoy represented a promise kept: the promise to remain present, to continue listening, and to stand alongside vulnerable communities with dignity, solidarity, and hope.
