Serving people, strengthening communities, and supporting the development of the Chouf.

A meaningful meeting brought together His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Mouna, Sheikh Akl of the Druze Community, and Mr. Marwan Sehnaoui, President of the Order of Malta Lebanon, with the participation of Minister of Agriculture Dr. Nizar Hani, to discuss the needs of the Chouf region and explore new avenues of cooperation in service of its people.

Building on the Order of Malta Lebanon’s longstanding health and social presence in the Chouf, this shared commitment aims to further strengthen local support and expand into the agro-humanitarian sector — supporting farmers, reinforcing value chains, creating sustainable livelihoods, and helping communities remain connected to their land.

At the heart of this approach is a common vision: to place people and human dignity at the center of development, while strengthening resilience, coexistence and local economic opportunities.
