The Green Spaces Initiative of OML was inaugurated at the Garden of the Patriarchs in Diman, under the patronage of the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and in the presence of His Eminence Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, the Maronite Patriarch, alongside the President of the Order of Malta Lebanon Marwan Sehnaoui, its managing director Lelia el Khazen Mallat and representatives of Lebanon’s various religious denominations. 

 Adel Ghandour, Head of our Agro-Humanitarian Program, presented the details of the initiative, including the planting of medicinal and aromatic herbs, the establishment of a handicraft workshop, and wastewater treatment.

The initiative to support partners in strengthening local value chains falls under the AHEAD Programme, designed and implemented by OML, with the support of Malteser International (MI) and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO)
