THE LEBANESE ASSOCIATION OF THE KNIGHTS OF MALTA (LAKM) / THE ORDER OF MALTA LEBANON IS LOOKING FOR ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS

The Order of Malta is present in Lebanon since 1953, it currently manages a network of 60 different operations through which it assists and supports, across the Lebanese territory, every person in need, regardless of their backgrounds, personal beliefs, or affiliations. Its service provision to the vulnerable revolves around three main pillars: The Healthcare Pillar, the Social Pillar and the Agro-humanitarian Pillar, all while establishing a benchmark of excellence, respecting diversity, and serving with humility.

The Order of Malta Lebanon (OML), officially registered as the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta, with the support of its partner Malter International (MI), has recently developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its healthcare, agriculture and social programs.

In this framework, the Order of Malta Lebanon is releasing a Call for Interest for Academic Institutions located in Lebanon. 

ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS 

Objective/Purpose of the assignment

The Order of Malta Lebanon is looking for academic institutions that are legally registered in Lebanon and willing to provide a comprehensive accredited professional development program in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science contextualized to sustainable agriculture and food systems. The bidder should have the capacity to supply the needs according to the criteria of pre-selection listed below.

Period of assignment: +/- 24 months 

Assignment Technical description : LAKM is looking for academic institutions in Lebanon that have the capacity to provide: 

-              Program in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science contextualized to sustainable agriculture and food systems

-              A diploma and certification at the end of the program/courses  

Criteria of Pre-Selection: All interested bidders must submit the following documents:

-              Valid operating license / authorization proving that the institution is legally authorized to provide academic, professional, or vocational training programs

-              Registration documents showing that the institution is formally registered as an academic, educational, or training entity, with valid supporting documents such as registration certificate, tax/MoF registration, or equivalent official documentation

-              Institutional profile demonstrating proven experience in delivering academic or professional training programs, preferably including courses related to Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, data, technology, or innovation.
