The Order of Malta is present in Lebanon since 1953, it currently manages a network of 60 different operations through which it assists and supports, across the Lebanese territory, every person in need, regardless of their backgrounds, personal beliefs, or affiliations. In this framework, the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta / Order of Malta Lebanon is looking for an experienced

SUMMARY 

Provides safe transport services to the Primary Health Care Satellite Unit (PSU) /Hub from one location to another, follows traffics laws, and ensures that there is always enough diesel in the tank for the destination 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assists with the loading and offloading of products, and materials

·         Assists the medical personnel during scheduled clinic visits in organizing the patient’s flow

·         Prepares the PSU vehicle for the site operation (turning on the generator…) 

·         Informs the company of any tickets issued against the PSU vehicle during work hours

·         Ensures that the PSU vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking 

·         Ensures that the PSU vehicle is only used for professional purposes, not for personal use and only during working days

·         Make sure to take the PSU vehicle on time in the morning from the HUB, and to park it after the completion of the working hours in the HUB

·         Keeps the PSU vehicle properly maintained 

·         Ensure that PSU vehicles are always kept perfectly and clean by washing both the inside and outside parts of the vehicle

·         Check the PSU vehicle condition after each trip 

·         Checks the PSU vehicle documents and their validity 

·         Reports on any accidents, injuries, and PSU vehicle damage to management 

·         Ensures that PSU vehicles have sufficient diesel and are always ready for use

·         Follows all safety rules and regulations

·         Carries out other tasks assigned by the management and/or PSU Field Coordinator and related to site operation

QUALIFICATIONS 

·         High school diploma

·         2 to 3 years of driving experience

·         A valid Public and private driver’s license

·         A Toutemarque license

·         Clean driving record and medical record

·         Must respect and adhere to the PSU internal rules/principles and to all safety and traffic rules

·         Knowledge of road safety regulations 

·         Ability to work in all weather conditions.
