THE LEBANESE ASSOCIATION OF THE KNIGHTS OF MALTA (LAKM) / ORDER OF MALTA LEBANON IS LOOKING FOR CONSULTANCY FOR COMMUNITY KITHCEN MANAGEMENT
The Order of Malta is present in Lebanon since 1953, it currently manages a network of 60 different operations through which it assists and supports, across the Lebanese territory, every person in need, regardless of their backgrounds, personal beliefs, or affiliations. Its service provision to the vulnerable revolves around three main pillars: The Healthcare Pillar, the Social Pillar and the Agro-humanitarian Pillar, all while establishing a benchmark of excellence, respecting diversity, and serving with humility.
The Order of Malta Lebanon (OML), officially registered as Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta, with the support of its partner Malteser International (MI), has recently developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its health and social services as well as its agriculture programs.
In this framework, OML is releasing a Call for Interest for the submission of proposals by qualified consultants for Community Kitchens Management and Accreditation preparedness.
Objective/Purpose of the assignment
The Order of Malta Lebanon invites consultancy firms to submit proposals for Community Kitchens Management and Accreditation preparedness. The overall objective is to assess, strengthen, and standardize OML communal kitchens, bringing them into compliance with national and international food safety, hygiene, operational, nutritional, and quality management standards, as well as to prepare them for, and support them through, an independent accreditation process led by a separately engaged Certification Body.

Assignment technical description OML is seeking support from consultancy firms to submit proposals for Community Kitchens Management and Accreditation preparedness as follows:
- Kitchens Assessment
- Recommendations
- SOPs Development and Operation Manual
- Pre & Post Accreditation Capacity Building
- Accreditation readiness & corrective actions
Criteria of Pre-Selection: All interested bidders must submit the following documents:
- Legal Documents (Commercial Register, MoF Registration) showing the consultancy firm is formally registered in Lebanon since at least 5 years.
- Company Profile showing relevant experience, preferably in community kitchen management and Accreditation preparedness across Lebanon.
