We are proud to support the launch of the 6th mobile medical unit in Khaldieh (North-Lebanon) of the Order of Malta in Lebanon. This operation is part of the support provided by the CPVG Charitable Trust to Catholic charitable projects, encouraging change, with a strong humanitarian and social impact and promoting the values ​​of compassion and commitment in favor of the most vulnerable. Our support to the action of the Order of Malta in Lebanon has started in 2018 by participating in the renovation of the Chabrouh center and the construction of an additional building equipped with recent and high-performance materials, which allows to receive a larger number of volunteers serving differently abled persons who are often abandoned.

The health centers and the UMM, supported by a consistent demand for quality, binding both the health and the social actions, are undoubtedly an immense challenge, but also a way forward for the entire health system of the country. Being accessible to the poorest, regardless of  religious or communitarian affiliations, makes it a remarkable action, which our Foundation is happy to support.

The Fondation Pierre Fabre has been supporting the actions of the Order of Malta Lebanon for nearly 20 years, providing financial support to its medical and social centers, particularly Khaldieh. This collaboration grew in 2016 in the context of a humanitarian emergency created by the influx of Syrian refugees, with the creation and commissioning in the West Bekaa of a mobile medical unit, giving access to medical consultations, exams and medications to more than 1000 people each month. We are proud of this strong partnership built to meet the needs of the most vulnerable populations.
