The Camps serve as an educational bridge for the volunteers, they teach them team-building and leadership skills, they also allow the strengthening of self-confidence, faith, tolerance and respect towards others. For them, this project has become a school to learn how to truly love. It is indeed a life-changing experience.
Positive Impact on the Institution’s Caregivers
The perseverance of volunteers impressed and pushed the caregivers to adopt a different perspective towards the disabled persons entrusted to them. The impact on the overall atmosphere in the centers and foster homes has been remarkable since the first year of the project.
