For many years now, Foi et Lumière has been organizing its annual Summer Camp at our Center in Chabrouh, serving their special guests with developmental disabilities.
Annual Mass of the Sovereign Order of Malta
On the occasion of the national feast of the Sovereign Order of Malta and of St. John the Baptist, Patron of the Order, Bertrand Besancenot, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Lebanon, Marwan Sehnaoui, President of the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta, as well as the Knights and Dames, members of the Association, invite you to attend the Mass celebrated by His Excellency Monseigneur Joseph Spiteri, Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon.
The mass will be held on Monday, June 24 at 18:45 sharp at the St. Joseph Church of the Jesuit Fathers located in Monnot Street.
Sung for the very first time, this Mass was specially composed for the occasion for choir, orchestra, organ and pan flute, by and under the leadership of Monsignor Valentino Miserachs with the participation of Michel Tirabosco.
The mass will be followed by a reception.

Meeting our beloved seniors
Bringing some happiness to our beloved seniors is a gift that the Youth of the Order perpetuates all year. With the support of the Champville students, a special outing will be organized and the usual sponsorship packages will be handed over. Exciting activities followed by a sunny lunch are expected on the menu.
The Yearly Iftar
In an continuous effort to promote peace and coexistence, at the occasion of the coming Eid, the Youth of the Order of Malta, in collaboration with the club USJ and Who is Hussein, is organizing an iftar on May 22th at USJ medical school. On this occasion, seniors and volunteers from different confessions will all celebrate around one big table.
British Camps
The British delegation of the Order of Malta joined the Chabrouh camps back in 2011. What started with one camp per year grew to become two consecutive camps each year. We are expecting close to 30 British volunteers and around 10 Lebanese volunteers to serves our differently-abled guests this summer.
The 1st camp will take place from June 23rd till the 29th
The 2nd camp from June 30th till July 6th.
Malteser MHD Camp
Malteser Hilfsdienst is organizing its 1st camp for our beloved disabled Guests. It will gather both professionals from the Order of Malta Lebanon, 25 colleagues from Germany (Malteser) invited by GJM, the entire CARAVAN team and Lebanese volunteers. This will be for some the chance to experience for the 1st time the magic of the Chabrouh camps.
Lourdes International Pilgrimage
Every year, at the beginning of the Marian month, the Lebanese delegation participates in the International Pilgrimage of the Order of Malta in Lourdes. They will be travelling this year from May 3rd to the 7th, with our Lords the Sick. Those who won’t be able to attend the pilgrimage and will be joining us in hearts & prayers, we offer for the second consecutive year the opportunity of sending personal intentions to Lourdes. They will be placed by our young messengers to Our Lady of Lourdes at the Massabielle Grotto, on Saturday, May 4th at noon (Leb. time) during our delegation’s Rosary prayers.

The Lebanese School for the Blind and Deaf Camp
The Lebanese School for the Blind and Deaf was launched with the support of Abouna Romanos back in 2009. This camp is a little special by its nature for its purpose is to improve the students’ social, personal and intellectual skills. They will be accompanied by the school teachers and staff using this opportunity to deepen their relationship! Lebanese and international volunteers are also welcome to join!
Elderly camp
Our dear seniors from Ain el Remmeneh and Zouk Center will be attending a camp organized specifically for them. The Youth of the Order makes it a point to gather them on yearly basis at our Chabrouh center to reiterate their love and support to them.
