Active since 1987 and accredited in 2015 by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the Khaldieh Community Health Center is a reference center not only among the network of the Order of Malta but among the entire PHC program involving more than 200 NGOs.
Located in a very poor rural area in the North Zghorta district that lacked healthcare facilities during the war, Khaldieh is still a reference today as it has also widened its activity to be able to serve the displaced Syrian and Iraqi population present in this area.
The Khaldieh center serves approximately 90 surrounding villages, it plays a crucial role both on the medical care front as well as on the social front.
The Sisters and the team work like a family together, caring for people physically, mentally, spiritually and socially, and providing them with the best quality possible.
