The various Community Health Centers of the Order of Malta across Lebanon care for a significant number of children from underprivileged backgrounds. In line with its mission, the Youth is committed to creating memorable times full of laughter, joy and love for these children. In conjunction with this, the Youth is also extremely active with orphans affiliated to various NGOs, and it organizes a series of activities both in and outside its centers for them:
Monthly Outings
Underprivileged children need to be reminded on a constant basis that they are entitled to an innocent, amusing and loving childhood. The Youth ensures that these are met and organizes different outings on a monthly basis, to playgrounds and cultural landmarks to give them a break from school, discover Lebanon and most importantly help them forget about the injustices of life.
Holiday Camps in Chabrouh
Children love a break from a school and what better than a weekend spent in the Chabrouh center of the Order of Malta, during which they get to play, take part in different games, and make new friends be kids!
Back to School Bank
The school bank aims to provide young students of Lebanese public schools with all the material needed to start their academic year. Indeed, part of securing their accomplishments at schools and fostering their enthusiasm, is to ensure that they are happy without feeling that they are unfortunate for not being able to afford brand new material.
