The Youth of the Order of Malta in Lebanon is an offshoot of the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta, which was founded in 2006 by a small group of young and dedicated volunteers. The Youth mission is to spread love and hope among those whom life did not favor, all while encouraging dialogue between people of different religious, social and political backgrounds. The Youth shares the same values as the Order of Malta in Lebanon and its volunteers dedicate their time, energy and resources to roll out initiatives and activities throughout the year across the centers of the Order of Malta in Lebanon and with partner institutions.
The purpose is to develop a growing Youth Community dedicated to serve human dignity and to foster cultural diversity in Lebanon.
We created a platform for young volunteers to work hand in hand to raise hope and serve the forgotten people of Lebanon. We do so by:
- Restoring the dignity to the physically and mentally challenged people through one-on-one care, love and lasting relationship
- Enhancing the well-being of lonely senior citizens and underprivileged children
