Also named Centre Saint Jean-Baptiste, this center is the closest to Beirut, it is considered as a pilot center where new medical services are tried and tested. Medical drugs are kept in a central storage facility to be dispatched to all the other Community Health Center of the Order of Malta in Lebanon.

Originally the center was a pilot project in which new socio-medical management methods were tested.

A soup kitchen program is available in the center for the senior citizens who live in very poor conditions in the vicinity of the center. The Youth of the Order of Malta volunteers also care for them through their elderly sponsorship project and entertainment programs.

The Center follows the Primary Health Care program set by the Ministry of Public Health following the recommendations of the WHO.
