In this framework, the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta / Order of Malta Lebanon is releasing a Call for Interest for interested bidders that have the capacity to supply food products.

MIDWIFE

LOCATION

SUMMARY

Offer support and services to pregnant women aiming at enhancing their awareness on pregnancy and engaging them actively in its management on a daily basis in order to ensure a positive pregnancy experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greetings women and / or couples and gathers biodata and obstetrical information
  • Completes clinical assessment including patient interview and physical examination and assess clinical situation.
  • Identifies and assess the medical, social or psychological risk for the mother or couple
  • Updates patients files and maintain data at all times
  • Develops and implements monitoring and prevention action plans.
  • Offers to patient blood and other tests investigations relevant to the pregnancy follow-up.
  • Collaborates closely with the center’s Physician and/or Community Obstetrician for the brief and follow up of patients.
  • Organizes and schedule the appointments for genetic scans (morphological ultrasound)
  • Transmits the summary of patient’s file to the obstetrician sonographer for his monthly visit.
  • Monitors the state of the health of pregnant women with high-risk pregnancy through monthly and on-need checkups.
  • Follows up on the inventory levels of products / materials related to the obstetrical activity and liaises with relevant parties to ensure their availability in the center
  • Provides therapeutic counseling and education for pregnant women and couples / families with a focus on various topics such as perinatal mental Health disorder, lifestyle & habits, Healthy diet.
  • Provides parenting support and counseling for pregnant women and mothers covering couple’s needs, breast-feeding, preparation for childbirth, …
  • Delivers awareness sessions targeted to pregnant women and/or couples aiming at enhancing the parenting experience.
  • Applies and follows code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta – Lebanon
  • Performs other related duties assigned by the healthcare center administrator.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree of Midwife
  • Practice Permission
  • Diploma in echography / breastfeeding from a university is a plus.
  • 2 years’ experience as a midwife in either a clinic, a hospital or a community center
  • Knowledge of good practice and policies of midwifery
  • Responsible with the ability to ensure emergency management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the projects planning process ensuring sustainability and efficiency
  • Provides strategic guidance, strong leadership

SUMMARY

The laboratory Technician carries out laboratory blood tests and performs technical exams using equipment in order to provide information for patient diagnostic

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects blood for testing and analysis and channels relevant samples for analysis within the center’s laboratory or to appropriate laboratory partners
  • Analyzes samples, generates results and writes relevant reports
  • Conducts and supports scientific investigations and experiments for ongoing medical research in line with Medical team requests
  • Records and analyzes researches and experiments data and inputs them in the Health Information System
  • Applies all procedures and protocols relevant to area of work (laboratory, analysis, equipment, etc.)
  • Calibrates on a monthly basis the laboratory equipment
  • Cleans the equipment, tests it to check its sterility and maintains the required level of hygiene and sterility at all times
  • Communicates results of analysis with beneficiaries and corresponding physicians

Agricultural Technical Expert

SUMMARY

The Agricultural Technical Expert is responsible for managing the production processes and maintaining accurate data records within our agricultural center. This role entails overseeing the implementation of agricultural practices, ensuring optimal crop performance, and leading efforts in data collection and entry to support reporting requirements.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the day-to-day agricultural operations, horticulture nurseries production, agrifood production, ensuring best practices are applied.
  • Monitor day to day seedlings development, food processing, and implement management strategies to maximize quality.
  • Coordinate with other technical staff to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage data related to production performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of AHC production activities and ensure timely data entry into the center’s management systems (SAP, Phenics…) for the production and programs.
  • Maintain the data management protocol to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of the data.
  • Conduct regular audits of data and records to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to trial new techniques, documenting results and making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on production, inventory, Programs.
  • Collaborate with the center manager and/or area coordinator to ensure efficient handling of production, inventory, and data management.
  • Stay updated on nurseries and food production trends, and technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Technical Diploma in Agricultural Studies or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in agriculture or a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to manage agricultural and agrifood production with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of crop management, agrifood production, soil science, and sustainable farming practices.
  • Proficient in the use of agricultural technology and data entry software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks that all vouchers are properly supported by adequate documents
  • Prepares all journal entries related but not limited to Accounts payable, cash and banks movement, expenses, payroll, difference on exchange, depreciation, and amortization

SUMMARY

Plays a crucial role in overseeing the general accounting of the association.

Prepares financial reports, performs research and analysis, maintains the general ledger, performs accounts reconciliations, assists with audit preparations, and ensures effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Reconciles and follow up daily on Banks accounts, Cash and cheques, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable related to general accounting to LAKM specified projects.
  2. Prepares journal entries related but not limited to Accounts payable, cash and banks movement, expenses, payroll, difference on exchange, depreciation for LAKM’s specified projects.
  • Reconciles and follow up monthly on Inventory records and fixed assets records.
  1. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  2. Coordinates and follows up with internal and external audits to ensure compliance and assists with annual audit preparations.
  3. Assists in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections.
  • Supports month-end and year-end financial closing process.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

  • Creates timely and accurate reports and presents them to higher management when needed.
  • Monitors proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures requested by management.
  1. Develops and standardizes the accounting policies among all projects and insures their proper implementation on ERP System.
  • Applies and follows code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta – Lebanon
  • Performs other related duties assigned by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience is a must
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • high Communication skills with the different stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and under stressful situations
  • Ability to adhere to ethical considerations and guidelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Labor laws, NSSF and taxes regulations
  • Ability to train and manage staff
  • Computer literate, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good in Arabic, English and French (Written and Spoken)
