This Community Health Center was built in 1991 and renovated in 2016 in the West Beqaa, in the village of Kefraya, with a catchment area of around 50 surrounding villages. The region has witnessed many years of war and conflicts and suffered from a permanent instability which had a real impact on its entire economy. Thanks to the wide range and the quality of its services, Kefraya center has become a pillar in this large rural area where the local community of multiple denominations live side by side. Today, it plays a major role in assisting the Syrian displaced population and is a hub for our West Beqaa Mobile Medical Unit.
Following the success of the health center, it was decided to extend its activity by opening a day care center for the elderly in 2005, also renovated in 2016.
