ABOUT US

The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 30 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.

The Order of Malta Lebanon has developed a comprehensive multi-annual program to strengthen its social, agricultural and health services as well as its structures.

In this framework, the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta / Order of Malta Lebanon is looking for experienced

LOCATIONS

  • Head Office – Beirut   

SUMMARY

Installs, monitors, troubleshoots computer hardware and software system, sets up and updates system software, assists with network administration, and resolves all IT support issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Software

  • Supports the roll-out of new systems
  • Tests new releases of business application
  • Follows written instructions to repair a fault or setup a system
  • Installs, configures, loads data into and tune business applications
  • Provides end users with the necessary support 
  • Escalates unresolved cases to second level of support
  • Follows up with external support till a solution is provided and implemented
  • Implements security measures
  • Repairs and recovers hardware or software failures
  • Performs basic windows installation
  • Configures scheduled and manual backup tasks
  • Resolves errors in a timely manner
  • Keeps track of technological advancements and trends in IT
  • Sets up new user’s accounts

Administrative

  • Provides IT assistance to employees
  • Trains end-users on hardware functionality and business applications
  • Supports day-to-day operations
  • Assists with network administration tasks
  • Performs other related duties assigned by the IT Manager
  • Coaches team members and staff to ensure optimal performance is achieved
  • Trains end users on business applications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Business Computing
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Keep attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good organization and time management
  • Proficiency in Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Work, PowerPoint…)
  • Fluency in French, Arabic and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in SQL
