In this framework, the Lebanese Association of the Knights of Malta / Order of Malta Lebanon is looking for an experienced.

Nurse – Home Visit

LOCATIONS

Beirut and Mount Lebanon

SUMMARY

During this period, her responsibilities include providing clinical care as part of a multidisciplinary team for patients in their homes when unable to visit the primary health care centers following SOP’s set.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and conduct home visits.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of medical, paramedical, and administrative staff to provide professional and quality care to homebound OML patients.
  • Follows up all protocols, processes and procedures (disease prevention, infection control…)
  • Provides basic clinical care for patients (providing nursing care, wound care, taking vital signs etc.)
  • Performs patient’s assessment after taking the patient’s vital signs, personal and medical history.
  • Supports the doctors in providing medical care and follows up with patients during recovery based on the set management plan.
  • Records beneficiaries update in their files according to the rules and regulations while protecting / preserving their confidentiality.
  • Ensures that medical acts are performed within a safe and secure environment for beneficiaries and other staff and reports injury and incidents in compliance with OML protocol.
  • Applies and follows the code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta – Lebanon
  • Performs other related duties requested by the Medical Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Master’s degree is a plus
  • 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare center
  • Valid nursing license
  • Working experience with PHENICS (Primary Health Care Network Information & Communication System)
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Organizational skills and multitasking skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint …)
  • Fluency in Arabic and English are a must. French is a plus.
